Our focus is to improve our fishing skills, enjoy comaradery, competition, and sportsmanship.
We encourage youth fishing and and a love for this great recreation and to become more involved in the outdoors.
We are a tournament club where fishermen can compete with or without owning a boat.
We will strive to stimulate public awareness of Bass fishing as a major sport.
We will offer our state conservation department our organized moral and political support and encouragement.
We will promote full adherence to all conservation codes.
We will demand adequate water standards and legal enforcement of existing regulatory standards.
We will report any polluter, and we will call public and political attention to their crime.
We will function as a dynamic and effective link with other chapters embracing the principals and purposes of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society.
Anglers, spouses, Junior Anglers and/or parents of Junior Anglers participating in any Michigan B.A.S.S. or B.A.S.S sanctioned event or representing themselves as a member of the Federation shall observe this code of conduct and the applicable rules for the event in which they are participating. Anglers, Junior Anglers and/or parents of Junior Anglers shall, at all times, conduct themselves in a manner becoming of these basic sporting principles and in a manner that will not reflect unfavorably on Michigan B.A.S.S. or B.A.S.S its members, officers or representatives, tournaments or sponsors. To this end, anglers shall use their best efforts to demonstrate sportsmanship, character and integrity in support of the sport of bass fishing. Any Angler, spouse, Junior Angler and/or parent of Junior Anglers, who violate any of the provisions of the Angler Code of Conduct, may be subject to forfeiture of tournament winnings, suspension from competing in Michigan B.A.S.S. sanctioned events for a period of time up to but not limited to removal from the Michigan B.A.S.S. Federation Nation.
